Activated charcoal is all the rave right now, so I decided to give it a try. First off... what is activated charcoal? No, it's not the same stuff you use at a BBQ. Activated charcoal is also known as activated carbon. This black, odorless, tasteless powder is found in many medications used to reduce the effects of food poisoning as well as in water filters. The charcoal is considered
activated when the atoms are separated and volatile compounds are removed. This allows for other substances to be pulled in and bind to the carbon.
I tried out the Carbon Coco Activated Charcoal Teeth Polish and Toothpaste. I'll keep you posted on my results. Coffee is life, so making sure I keep these pearly whites pearly and white is a must. Click the picture to see a video of my first experience using activated charcoal.
